Our Story
I've been debating whether or not to share this, but I think it's finally time to tell the story behind why I started Anchorwood Apparel.
The last year hasn't looked anything like I imagined.
What started as a knee surgery turned into complications I never saw coming. Suddenly, I wasn't working anymore. The plans I had for my future were put on hold, and I found myself trying to adjust to a life that looked completely different than the one I had planned.
There were days when I felt frustrated, scared, overwhelmed, and honestly... lost.
I'm still living this chapter of my life. I'm still healing, and I'm still learning to adapt to everything that's changed.
But somewhere in the middle of it all, I started noticing the little things.
The quiet evenings.
The sunsets.
Long drives.
Being by the water.
Fresh air.
The outdoors.
Those moments became my escape. They reminded me that even when life feels uncertain, there's still peace to be found. They taught me that even in the hardest seasons, there is still beauty if you're willing to slow down long enough to see it.
That's where Anchorwood was born.
I didn't create this brand because I wanted to sell clothing.
I created it because I needed something to pour my heart into. I needed a purpose. I needed something to believe in again. I needed a reminder that even when life doesn't go the way you planned, you can still build something meaningful.
Anchorwood is more than apparel.
It's a reminder to slow down.
To breathe.
To appreciate the little moments.
To reconnect with nature.
To stay grounded, even when life feels like it's pulling you in every direction.
Because sometimes it's those small, quiet moments that carry us through the hardest days.
This brand has become part of my healing journey, and every hoodie, every T-shirt, every order, and every person who chooses to support Anchorwood means more to me than you'll ever know.
When you wear Anchorwood, I hope it reminds you to step outside, chase the sunset, take the long way home, sit by the water, breathe in the fresh air, and remember that life isn't meant to be rushed.
If you've supported Anchorwood in any way, thank you.
You're not just supporting a small business.
You're supporting someone who chose to keep moving forward, one day at a time.
I'm still writing this chapter of my story.
And I truly believe the best chapters are still ahead.
Thank you for being part of this journey.
Welcome to Anchorwood Apparel.
